Mr. Nanthapol Sudbanthad, Director of Thailand Board of Investment, New York Office, participated in MRO Americas 2024 during April 9-10, held at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. This event is an important gathering of aerospace Industry companies. The attendees represent a wide range of roles in the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) industry, including airlines, OEMs, suppliers, and service providers.
MRO Americas stands out as the premier annual event focused on the aerospace industry that is dedicated to promoting one-on-one partnering for business development and networking events. With more than 1,000 companies from around the world, the participants would have the chance to meet business investors and industry experts.
During the event, Mr. Nanthapol took the opportunity to visit booths of various companies to discuss and provide an update on BOI investment promotion incentives in the aerospace industry. In addition, he touched on the industries ecosystem in Thailand including aerospace industry players in Thailand that set up the manufacturing or repairing parts and component facilities in Thailand. He also underscored BOI actions to improve ease of doing business in the sector.
The BOI New York Office also had the privilege of visiting AAR Corp., a leading provider of aircraft maintenance services as its world headquarters and warehouse facility in Wood Dale, Illinois, and met with Mr. Greg Dellinger, a key figure in Public Policy Innovation. Discussions were undertaken to facilitate the Component Services Station project in Chonburi Thailand by leveraging parts acquisition from Triumph Aviation, a BOI-promoted company in Thailand. |
