Do I need to apply for factory licenses in Thailand? 

The degree of government control required varies depending on your type of business. To ensure environmental safety, cautious regulations are utilized for factories likely to output pollution. To find out if your factory type requires licensing or notification read the Factory of Act B.E. 2535

How do I know if my business is subject to environmental regulation in Thailand? 

Business activities must comply with environmental management criteria and conditions. Particularly, companies in the following industries: oil refinery, natural gas separation, power generation, chemicals and petrochemicals, minerals and base metals, etc. For more information on environmental regulations, please refer to our Pollution Control Department
