On August 21, 2024, Mr. Nanthapol Sudbanthad, Director of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) New York Office, participated in the Energy Expo 2024 at the MACC Convention Center, Miami, Florida. The event brought together companies in clean energy, energy storage, and energy-saving sectors, with a focus on both the U.S., Latin American, and Caribbean markets.

During the Expo, Director Nanthapol visited several innovative startup booths in the energy storage sector, underscoring Thailand's commitment to expanding its electric vehicle (EV) and green energy industries. He highlighted the need for advanced technology to bolster Thailand's EV and energy sectors and shared the incentives and support offered by the BOI to attract U.S. investment into Thailand.

In addition to the Expo, Director Nanthapol, together with Mr. Chavanol Phovnil, Director of the Thai Trade Center in Miami, met with Mr. Robert Hernandez, Business Development Manager of World Trade Miami. The meeting explored potential opportunities for increased trade and investment collaboration between Thailand and the United States and especially with markets in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Director Nanthapol also met with the President of healthy noodles and ready-to-eat meals made from konjac and egg white, a company interested in investing in Thailand. The discussions centered on identifying Thai entrepreneurs capable of producing high-protein, low-carb products, including alternative protein snacks and beverages, to meet the U.S. market demand.
