Mr. Nanthapol Sudbanthad, Director of the Thailand Board of Investment New York Office, attended the MRO Americas 2025 conference and exhibition, held in Atlanta, Georgia, from April 8–10, 2025. Recognized as one of the world’s leading aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) gatherings, the event brought together key stakeholders from across the global aerospace industry, featuring over 1,000 exhibitors and 17,000 attendees from related sectors.

During the event, Director Sudbanthad engaged with prominent industry leaders and showcased Thailand’s growing capabilities and investment potential in the aerospace and aviation maintenance sectors. Thailand continues to position itself as a strategic hub for MRO operations in Southeast Asia, supported by its robust infrastructure, skilled workforce, and strong government incentives.

As part of the visit, Director Sudbanthad also met with Mr. Stefan Harrigan, Senior Manager of Global Business Development at the Metro Atlanta Chamber, to discuss opportunities for future collaboration between Thailand and the Atlanta metropolitan region. The meeting highlighted shared interests in aerospace, logistics, and advanced manufacturing, setting the stage for continued engagement and mutual investment promotion.
