On October 30, 2025, The BOI New York Office was invited by the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C. to visit the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center, the main research hub of IBM. Mrs. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul-General in New York, represented the Ambassador in joining this visit.

During the visit, the delegation met with Mr. Mukesh Khare (General Manager – IBM Semiconductor) and Mr. Jason Silbergleit (Vice President – Business Development & Partnerships) to exchange insights and explore potential collaboration opportunities in technology and innovation.
