On 14 November 2025, Mrs. Cherdchan Arunrat, Director of BOI New York office, hosted a meeting with Mr. Ampon Asuwapongpatana, the Vice President – US, EU, and UK Business for Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group). Mr. Asuwapongpatana was in the U.S. as part of a delegation visiting Canada to meet with the Minister of International Trade and representatives of the private sector.

During the meeting, Mr. Asuwapongpatana provided updates on the CP Group’s current investment projects across North America and highlighted the fully integrated farming concept that uses robots and automation systems at its Ohio facility, showcasing CP's commitment to cutting-edge agricultural practices. He also shared the company's potential investment areas that have been studied for exploring opportunities in North America.

Director Cherdchan shared insights into the BOI's recently launched investment promotion measures and policies designed to enhance Thailand's competitiveness. The discussion also included an exchange of views on the important role of developing highly skilled training programs within Thailand's targeted sectors, emphasizing that such initiatives are vital for enhancing economic resilience amidst current geopolitical dynamics.
