On 25 February 2026, BOI New York organized a roundtable seminar titled “Thailand as an Investment Destination: Policy Update Roundtable & Luncheon” to provide updates on investment policies and incentives to leading site selection consulting firms. The event was chaired by Ms. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul-General of Thailand in New York, who briefed participants on Thailand’s latest political developments and reaffirmed confidence in the country’s economic stability and policy continuity.

Mr. Thitipong Prasertsilp, Vice President and Branch Manager of Bangkok Bank, New York Branch, also delivered remarks on Thailand’s banking landscape and the bank’s services. In addition, Ms. Cherdchan Arunrat, Director of BOI New York highlighted Thailand’s strengths as an investment destination, the country’s economic outlook, Thailand–U.S. investment relations, and investment opportunities in Thailand, particularly BOI investment promotion privileges covering both tax and non-tax incentives, as well as supporting measures and facilitation services.
