Mrs. Cherdchan Arunrat, Director of BOI New York Office, together with Ms. Somvida Keyuraphan, Deputy Director, attended MRO Americas 2026, held in Orlando, Florida, from April 21–23, 2026.
The event is recognized as one of the world’s premier gatherings for the aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) industry and marks its 30th edition. It brings together key stakeholders across the global aviation value chain, including airlines, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), MRO service providers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
With more than 1,000 exhibitors and over 17,000 attendees from more than 90 countries, the event serves as a vital platform for showcasing technologies and innovations, fostering business partnerships, and shaping the future direction of the MRO industry. Key topics highlighted at the event include the adoption of digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance maintenance efficiency, as well as strategies for managing increasingly complex aviation supply chains.
On this occasion, the BOI New York Office also underscored Thailand’s strong potential as a regional hub for aviation MRO investment. Thailand offers well-developed airport infrastructure, a steadily growing aviation sector, and a highly skilled workforce of certified aircraft maintenance technicians meeting international standards. In addition, the government provides attractive investment incentives, including tax benefits and comprehensive support for establishing MRO facilities, further strengthening the country’s competitiveness in the global MRO market. |
